Apple to Authors: Content You Make in iBook App is Yours, Not Ours | Epicenter | Wired.com

So Apple starts to play a bit more fair in their eBook creation program, but only for exporting to ePub. They’re still interested in renaming eBooks and calling them iBooks and doesn’t give up selling rights for eBooks created with their program and exported into the iBook format. Does Apple really feel a need to dominate the publishing industry? And once again, do we really need yet another file format to think about? this is unnecessary and a bit obnoxious.
