Getting back to the Windows 8.1 you loved

If you’re like me, you got the new Windows 8.1 update and hated it. Your computer no longer booted into the start screen and open apps were now annoyingly present on the task bar. Cripes, I really loved how Windows 8.1 worked and they changed it to appease a select few.

Well, here’s how you can revert back to the Windows 8 that you loved. All you need to do is right click on the task bar, select properties. In the properties window, click on the Navigation tab and uncheck anything checked off in the Start screen portion. Hit OK and you’re good to go!

Enjoy the updates without the annoyances!
