It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of Ru Paul’s Drag Race, which I watch via my web browser and stream to my TV via Chromecast. until recebtly, Drag Race was the only Logo show I’ve bothered wathching. It’s not that I don’t like gay televison, it’s just that I haven’t found a show that’s grabbed me enough to keep up with it…until I found Cucumber.
Cucumber is about a 40-something year old gay guy in England. It’s smart, well acted and full of realstic drama. Leave it to the British to make good television. So I watch the two final shows in the first season because that’s all I can watch on Logotv.com, then I do a little hunting to find out if I can watch the other episodes and discover that they’re all available on the LogoTV app! This sounded fantastic until I realized that the app doesn’t work with Chromecast. All I could do was roll my eyes and uninstall the app. What a major dissappointment.
While I commend Logo for bringing us gay shows that realistically depict our lives, I’m annoyed for their lack of tech knowledge. Who designs their web site, which has video that often messes up in the middle of a show and an app that doesn’t bother utilizing Chromecast? Wake up Logo!
So now I’m on the hunt to find all the episodes of Cucumber onlne. Perhpas they’re on Youtube or someother web site.
