Sling TV brings its cord-cutting television service to Chromecast

The basic Sling package is $20/month and gives you a host of popular channels (CNN, Lifetime, ESPN, Disney, TBS, A&E, AMC, etc…). And unlike Hulu, it’s live, if you care about such things.

There is no Comedy Central or Logo, so I would still have to keep my Hulu subscription, which would bring my TV bill to $27.99/month, which is more than I’m willing to pay for television…but that’s me. It’s still cheaper than cable.

Maybe some day one of these services will be good enough to have just about everything a person wants.
