Where to view your backed-up apps on Android 6.0 Marshmallow – CNET

I just got the OTA update for Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) for my Nexus 6 and am planning on doing a factory reset (FDR) to make sure everything runs smooth and to test the new app backup that comes with Android 6.0. Before I do the FDR, I want to make sure all my apps utilize the new app backup feature in 6.0, which is how I found the above article.

Low and behold, I go into Google Drive and discover that the only app I care about having the settings backed up (Maildroid) doesn’t utilize the new 6.0 backup and restore feature. Hopefully it won’t take too long for Maildroid to update to Android 6.0.

So keep this in mind of you just got the OTA and are thinking of doing a FDR.
